Disclosed in the present application are a self-energy-taking hybrid direct-current circuit breaker and an application method therefor. In the self-energy-taking hybrid direct-current circuit breaker, a breaking branch is connected to a through-current branch in parallel, a first end of a grounding branch is connected to the breaking branch, and a second end of the grounding branch is grounded. When a direct-current system operates stably, the through-current branch conducts a steady-state running current of the direct-current system, and when the direct-current system breaks down, a self-energy-taking capacitor in the breaking branch assists a power electronic device in achieving the breaking of a fault current.

A novel combined direct current circuit breaker is provided, which includes a transfer branch, an energy absorption branch, at least two primary branches and at least two secondary branches; the transfer branch is connected in parallel with the energy absorption branch; the primary branches are in one-to-one correspondence with the second branches; the primary branches are connected with direct current outgoing lines of a direct current busbar in a high-voltage direct current power transmission system; the secondary branches are connected in series with the transfer branches and then connected in parallel with two ends of the primary branches corresponding to the secondary branches. Compared with the conventional art, the novel combined direct current circuit breaker and an application method thereof improve application economy of the high-voltage direct current circuit breaker in a flexible direct current power grid, and are favorable for construction of the direct current power grid and popularization and application of a hybrid direct current circuit breaker.

The improved cascaded full-bridge high-voltage DC circuit breaker comprises a main through-flow branch, a transfer current branch, and an energy absorption branch. The main through-flow branch comprises mechanical switches (K) connected in series and a full-bridge module circuit. The transfer current branch comprises at least two full-bridge module units connected in series. The energy absorption branch comprises a lightning arrester. Compared with the prior art, the present invention can achieve quick reclosing of the cascaded full-bridge high-voltage DC circuit breaker within several milliseconds.

The high-voltage direct-current circuit breaker is connected in a direct-current system in series, and comprises an energy absorption branch, a main branch and a current transfer branch which are connected in parallel, wherein the current transfer branch comprises first current transfer branches (T1, T2) and second current transfer branches(T3, T4); the energy absorption branch is composed of a nonlinear resistor (MOV); and the main branch comprises at least two groups of high-speed mechanical switches (Kl, K2) and at least two groups of full controlled device modules which are connected in series. Since the circuit has a simple topology structure, is simple and convenient to control, and is flexible to apply, the energy required by injecting a current into a capacitor can be obtained from a system without configuring an auxiliary power source, thereby improving the reliability of an apparatus. The used power electronic devices are mainly half controlled thyristors, so that the series connection technology is mature, the capability for current segmentation is strong, the level of withstand voltage is high, the expansion capability is strong, and the costs of devices are low.

A Direct Current (DC)-DC conversion system and a control method thereof are provided. The system includes a phase element and a controller. The phase element includes multiple bridge arms. The multiple bridge arms are in star connection and form a common terminal and multiple output terminals. Each of the bridge arms includes a variable voltage source. The controller is connected to each of the variable voltage sources, and is configured to control a voltage of each of the variable voltage sources. Compared with the conventional art, the DC-DC conversion system and control method thereof provided by the invention have the advantages that each of the bridge arms in the phase element forms star connection, so that a circulation current for energy balance only circulates in the system, rather than flowing into a DC system. In addition, the system adopts relatively smaller numbers of power electronic devices and filters, so that the system may be applied to the field of high-voltage high-capacity DC power transmission and may reduce limits of inductive devices to DC power transmission of the DC-DC conversion system.
