An object of embodiments is to provide a non-aqueous electrolyte battery which can achieve a high energy density and an internal low resistance, and a battery pack, the battery comprising a positive-pole and negative-pole active materials on the both side surfaces of a current collector. A non-aqueous electrolyte battery 60 comprises a bipolar electrode 11 and a non-aqueous electrolyte 7. The electrode includes positive-pole and negative-pole active material layers 4 and 5 formed on the both side surfaces of a current collector 3.
