The first switch 2 is provided in a position on a transmission route between the power-receiving coil L2 and the cell of the battery 96, which is closer to the power-receiving coil L2 than to the cell of the battery 96 and is controlled by the first switch control circuit 21 so as to, when a voltage that is applied between the power-receiving coil L2 and the cell of the battery 96 exceeds a threshold, turn off conduction between the power-receiving coil L2 and the cell of the battery.

The method can accurately compute a remaining range of an electric car.
