    摘要: A vehicle (1) includes: a battery (14) that is chargeable with electric power supplied from a charger (2) provided outside the vehicle; and an air-conditioning and cooling system (15) that cools the battery (14). An ECU (10) controls a charging operation for the battery (14) such that the battery (14) is charged under a charging condition of a constant current (I const ) which is constant over a charging period from start of charging to satisfaction of a completion condition. The ECU (10) sets the charging condition such that a battery temperature (TB) when the completion condition is satisfied becomes an upper limit temperature (UL), based on an amount of heat generation in the battery (14) caused by charging and an amount of cooling of the battery (14) by the air-conditioning and cooling system (15).
