摘要: [Problem] To provide: a particulate fluorescent body formed of a YAG-based or LuAG-based monocrystal which has excellent external quantum efficiency and excellent light emitting properties under high temperature conditions and a production method therefor; a fluorescent body-containing member that contains the fluorescent body; and a light emitting device or projector having the fluorescent body-containing member. [Solution] Provided as one embodiment of the present invention is a particulate fluorescent body that has a particle diameter (D50) not less than 20 µm and that is formed of a monocrystal having a compositional makeup represented by a compositional formula (Y1-x-y-zLuxGdyCez)3+aAl5-aO12 (0≤x≤0.9994, 0≤y≤0.0669, 0.001≤z≤0.004, -0.016≤a≤0.315).

Provided as one embodiment of the present invention is a single crystal phosphor which has a composition represented by composition formula (Y 1-a-b Lu a Ce b ) 3+c Al 5-c O 12 (wherein 0 ‰¤ a ‰¤ 0.9994, 0.0002 ‰¤ b ‰¤ 0.0067 and -0.016 ‰¤ c ‰¤ 0.315), and which has an emission spectrum having CIE chromaticity coordinates x and y satisfying the relation -0.4377x + 0.7384 ‰¤ y ‰¤ -0.4585x + 0.7504 when the peak wavelength of the excitation light is 450 nm at the temperature of 25°C.

摘要: Provided is a wavelength conversion member 1 which comprises a substrate 10 and a wavelength conversion layer 11 that includes a phosphor particle group 12 and a sealing member 13 for sealing the phosphor particle group 12 and that is provided on the substrate 10 directly or with another layer therebetween, wherein: a predetermined region, in which the area ratio of the cross-section of the phosphor particle group 12 is 50% or more, is included in an arbitrary cross-section parallel to the thickness direction of the wavelength conversion layer 11; when the thickness of the wavelength conversion layer 11 is at least 50 µm, the predetermined region is a rectangular region that has a thickness of 50 µm from the bottom surface of the wavelength conversion layer 11 and a width of 700 µm; and when the thickness of the wavelength conversion layer 11 is less than 50 µm, the predetermined region is a rectangular region that has the same thickness as that of the wavelength conversion layer 11 and a width of 700 µm.
