摘要: A network node and a method performed by a network node for protecting control channels of a neighboring RBS, the network node and the RBS being operable in an OFDM based radio communication network are provided. An RBS and a method performed by an RBS for transmitting control channels to UEs currently being associated with the RBS in an OFDM based radio communication network are also provided. The method in the network node comprises determining (220) at least one subframe out of a predetermined number of subframes in which control channels are to be transmitted with reduced transmission power in relation to a nominal transmission power; and informing (230) the RBS which subframe(s) out of the predetermined number of subframes in which control channels are to be transmitted with reduced transmission power.

摘要: An apparatus and method for communicating mobility threshold changes between peer nodes (12a, 12b) in a communications network (10) is provided. A sending peer node (12a), such as an eNB, for example, generates (104) a mobility change request message (40) to include an information element (50) having a set of mobility parameters. The set of mobility parameters includes a change value (52) that indicates a change to a threshold relative to a current value of the threshold, as well as a type value (54) indicating a mobility threshold type to be changed and an absolute threshold value (56) to apply to the mobility threshold type. Once generated, the sending peer node (12a) sends (110) the mobility change request message (40) to a receiving peer node (12b).

摘要: Example embodiments presented herein are directed towards a network node (401A, 401B) (e.g., a source or target base station), and corresponding method therein, for managing a user equipment time offset measurement by accounting for a user equipment mobility profile. The management may involve a source network node (401A) delaying or preventing the sending of a user equipment timing offset measurement to a target network node (401B) or sending an indication or a reliability of the user equipment timing offset measurement. The network node (401A, 401B) may further apply a compensation to the user equipment timing offset measurement to account for an expected behavior of the user equipment based on the mobility profile. The network node (401A, 401B) may also adapt an uplink search window based on the user equipment mobility profile.

摘要: A method for a second network node (13,14) for detecting a short stay handover of a user equipment (UE) (11) in a second cell (16) in a telecommunication system (10). The UE (11) is handed over from a first cell (15) to the second cell (16) and from the second cell (16) to a third cell (17) in the telecommunication system (10). The second network node sends, to a first network node (12,18), an indication in a message that a short stay handover has occurred when it is determined that the UE (11) is handed over to the third cell (17) before a time threshold, thereby enabling the first network node (12,18) to detect the short stay handover.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for providing a handover of fewer than all bearers associated with a user equipment are disclosed. An example method includes establishing a connection for fewer than all bearers associated with the user equipment, via a selective handover procedure, and receiving, from a source base station or a user equipment, a handover completion message for the fewer than all bearers associated with the user equipment. The example method further includes sending, to a core network node, a request to switch a path for the fewer than all bearers, the request comprising an information element providing an indication of whether or not a control interface connection between the source base station and the core network node should continue to be maintained, and thus not switched to the target base station. In some embodiments, but not all, an acknowledgement message is subsequently received, in response to the request.

摘要: The teachings relates to method (40) in a target network (node16) of a target core network in a first domain during handover, in the first and in a second domain, of a communication device (20) from a source radio access network to a target radio access network. The source radio access network comprises a source access node (11) and the target radio access network comprises a target access (node12). The method (40) comprises determining (41) whether the communication device (20) has access admission to the target core network; when a hand over fails generating (42) a hand over failure message comprising an information element “Independent domain HandOver”, where in the information element is set to a predefined value indicating whether the hand over failed due to lack of access rights or for other reasons than lack of access rights. The teachings also relates to devices and further to methods in source nodes.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to identifying stale failure reports in a cellular communications network. In one embodiment, a node in a cellular communications network receives a failure report associated with a connection failure for a user equipment and determines when the connection failure occurred with respect to a most recent mobility adjustment made by the node. If the connection failure occurred before the most recent mobility adjustment made by the node, the node classifies the failure report as a stale failure report. In one embodiment, if the failure report is classified as a stale failure report, the node discards the failure. In another embodiment, if the failure report is classified as a stale failure report, the node considers the failure report with reduced relevance for a next iteration of a process to determine whether new mobility adjustments are desired.
