摘要: Systems and methods to enable 5G system support for conveying time synchronization are provided. In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device for conveying external time domain information is provided. The method includes receiving a message in a first time domain used by the wireless device, the message comprising external time domain information; determining information about a second time domain based on the external time domain information; and conveying information about the second time domain to another node. In some embodiments, timing information is included into a GPRS Tunneling Protocol (GTP) payload, and the wireless device can get timing information directly from the data payload. This minimizes the RAN and/or gNB impact and adds the potential for multiple time domain support.

摘要: Techniques for enhancing performance in Industrial Internet-of-Things (IIoT) scenarios, including techniques for time-sensitive networking (TSN) and 5G wireless network integration. An example method performed by a wireless device associated with a wireless communications network comprises receiving a first timing signal from the wireless communications network and receiving a second timing signal from an external Time-Sensitive Networking, TSN, data network to which the wireless device is connected. The method further comprises establishing at least one TSN stream with the external TSN data network, through a radio base station, RBS, in the wireless communications network.

摘要: A method and apparatus for addressing a message sent from a proxy node to a peer node in a communications network. The proxy node receives from a host node a plurality of multipath messages. Each message of the plurality of multipath messages has an address. The proxy node then applies a rule to assign an address for a single flow message towards the peer node. The single flow message comprises each message of the plurality of multipath messages. The single flow message is then sent towards the peer node.
