    摘要: In a first aspect of the invention, a pneumatic tire (1) is provided, the pneumatic tire comprising two spaced apart beads (4), a tread portion (10), a pair of sidewalls (2) extending radially inward from axially outer edges of the tread portion to join the respective beads (4), the axially outer edges of the tread portion defining a tread width, a carcass (9), an innerliner (13) covering the carcass and enclosing a tire cavity when mounted on a rim, and multiple layers (30) of open cell, noise damping foam strip material attached on top of each other to the innerliner (13) within the tire cavity in an area radially below the tread portion (10), wherein each layer (30) has an axial width from 20% to 80% of the tread width and a radial thickness from 5% to 20% of the tread width and said multiple layers fill together from 8% to 40% of the volume of the tire cavity. Furthermore, in a second aspect, the present invention is directed to a method of manufacturing a noise dampened tire.

    摘要: In a first aspect, the present invention is directed to a pneumatic tire comprising a tread portion, two bead portions, two sidewalls extending between the tread portion and the respective bead portions, an inner surface defining a tire cavity, a sealant material layer covering the inner surface radially below the tread portion within the tire cavity, and at least one noise dampening strip which is partially covering and attached to the sealant material on a radially inner side and along a circumferential direction of the sealant material layer. The sealant material layer has at least one plateau region supporting the noise dampening element and one or more bottom regions provided laterally beside the plateau region, and wherein the plateau region extends out of the bottom regions in a radially inner direction.
    In a second aspect, the present invention is directed to a pneumatic tire comprising a tread portion, two bead portions, two sidewalls extending between the tread portion and the respective bead portions, an inner surface defining a tire cavity, a sealant material layer covering the inner surface radially below the tread portion within the tire cavity, and at least one noise dampening element which is partially covering and attached to the sealant material on a radially inner side of the sealant material layer. The sealant material layer has at least one plateau region supporting the noise dampening element and one or more bottom regions provided laterally beside the plateau region, wherein the plateau region extends out of the bottom regions in a radially inner direction. Moreover, the sealant material layer comprises i) one or more sealant material strips spirally wound about an axis of the tire and along the inner surface of the tire, or ii) axially adjacent sealant material strips extending circumferentially about an axis of the tire and along the inner surface of the tire, wherein said strips have a larger thickness in the plateau region than in the bottom regions.
