摘要: The present invention provides: a catalyst which has high activity and enables the production of an olefin polymer that has a polar group; and a method for producing the polymer. A catalyst for olefin polymerization, which contains a metal complex represented by general formula (C1); and a method for producing an ethylene (co)polymer, wherein (1) ethylene is polymerized, (2) ethylene and an olefin having a polar group represented by general formula (1) are copolymerized, or (3) ethylene, an olefin having a polar group represented by general formula (1) and another monomer are copolymerized, with use of the above-described catalyst. (In the formulae, the symbols are as defined in the description; and at least one of R 6 and R 7 represents a 9-fluorenyl analogous group represented by general formula (2).)

摘要: The present invention pertains to a method for producing a copolymer of ethylene and an allyl monomer having a polar group represented by general formula (1), or a copolymer of ethylene, an allyl monomer having a polar group represented by general formula (1), and other monomers, wherein the copolymer is produced in the presence of a boron compound having a boron-hydrogen bond or a boron-carbon bond (for example, a compound represented by general formula (2)) by using a metal complex represented by general formula (C1) as a polymerization catalyst (the symbols in the formulas are as described in the description). According to the present invention, a copolymer of ethylene and an allyl monomer can be efficiently produced with high catalytic activity, wherein the copolymer has a polar group and can be used in various applications.

Preferred as the gas-barrier resin (A) are a vinyl alcohol-based resin (A1), a polyamide-based resin (A2), and a polyester-based resin (A3). The present invention can provide a resin composition ameliorated in low flexibility and low impact resistance, which are drawbacks of a gas-barrier resin, without impairing excellent gas barrier properties of the gas-barrier resin.-

The present invention enables providing a high-molecular-weight copolymer of polar group-containing allyl monomers, which copolymer has a novel structure, is available for various applications and has been considered to be difficult to synthesize by other polymerization methods such as radical polymerization; and a method for producing the same.-
