    摘要: There is provided a microfluidic device (1) including a flow path (35), and one or more droplet holders (11) connected to the flow path (35). In the microfluidic device (1), the flow path (35) has a height of more than 0 µm and 30 µm or less. There is also provided a sample analysis method that uses the microfluidic device (1). The method includes introducing a sample-containing aqueous solution into the flow path and allowing the droplet holders to accommodate the aqueous solution, introducing a sealant into the flow path for replacement with the aqueous solution present in the flow path and encapsulating the aqueous solution in the droplet holders, causing a reaction in the droplet holders and generating signals for detection, and detecting the signals.
