摘要： A window assembly suitable for being mounted in a window opening. The assembly comprising a window frame made up of a number of frame members where one of said frame members is fastened to the window opening, a window sash made up of a number of sash elements, a mounting fitting which connects one of said sash elements with one of said frame members, a window pane arranged in said window sash and a cover panel assembly comprising a number of cover panel elements, where one of said cover panel elements is fastened to one of said frame members such that the surface of the window opening which faces the centre of the window assembly is at least partially covered by said cover panel element. The cover panel assembly is arranged such that in a cross section taken through one of the sides of the window assembly and being arranged on a plane which is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the frame member of said side of the window assembly, the cover panel element covers at least a portion of a surface of the frame member which faces in towards the centre of the window assembly and such that the outermost edge of the surface of the cover panel which faces in towards the centre of the window assembly is arranged flush with or closer to the centre of the window assembly than the innermost edge of the surface of the window sash element which is arranged on the inside of the window pane and which faces in towards the centre of the window assembly.

摘要： An outwardly opening window assembly for mounting in a window opening, said window assembly comprising: a plate element, a window sash comprising a top sash element, a bottom sash element and two side sash elements, said window sash elements arranged at the periphery of said plate element, a window frame comprised of a top frame element, a bottom frame element and two side frame elements, said window frame elements arranged at the periphery of said window sash when the window assembly is closed and mounting fittings which connect at least one of the window sash elements to at least one of the window frame elements. The window assembly is further defined in that one of the window frame elements comprises a first surface which faces towards the outside of the window assembly and where, one of the window sash elements comprises a second surface and a third surface, said second surface being arranged such that it is located on the inner side of the plate element and such that it is facing said first surface of said frame member when the window is closed and said third surface being arranged such that it is facing the outer periphery of the window assembly and where said mounting fittings are fastened to said frame member via said first surface and to said sash member via said third surface. In this way, a window assembly is provided which is advantageous in a number of ways.
