Die Verriegelungselemente (6) sind zur Arretierung des Schiebeflügels (1) in der Geschlossenstellung mittels eines Betätigungselements (17) über ein Getriebe (15) in vertikaler Richtung (R) derart gegenläufig verschiebbar, dass sie mit den Verriegelungsgegenstücken (7) eine Verschiebung des Schiebeflügels (1) blockierend zusammenwirken. Das Getriebe (15) ist außerhalb des Rahmenprofils (3) angeordnet.
