In the column (35) thereof, the device comprises a wall (42) having at least one transverse lower edge (A, B) extending above the radiator (26) and above the evaporator (25) in a transverse median plane (PMT) that divides the column (35) into two halves, a front half and a rear half, and a longitudinal upper edge (D) situated above and extending along a longitudinal median plane (PML) that divides the column into two lateral halves, and two transverse upper edges (C, E) each one connecting one end of the longitudinal upper edge (D) to a transverse edge while running along the front and rear walls respectively.
