    摘要: Curable epoxy resin compositions, which are obtainable by heating a composition containing at least one epoxy compound, which contains on average at least one, preferably more than one, 1,2-epoxy group and optionally also one or several hydroxyl groups in the molecule, in the presence of at least one Lewis acid as catalyst, wherein the Lewis acid is a salt of trifluoromethanesulfonic acid or of perchloric acid, the counterion of which carries a 2- to 6-fold positive charge, until the epoxy value, measured in equivalent epoxy/kg (Eq/kg) of the starting material, has been reduced by 1 to 60 percent, preferably by 5 to 50 percent; a process for their preparation, and their use for the preparation of fully cured moulded compositions or coatings. Claimed are, inter alia, also high molecular weight epoxy compounds of formula (IIa), wherein A is a divalent aliphatic or aromatic radical, B is the radical of the dioxan, which is substituted either in 2- and 5-position or in 2- and 6-position and which may be in the cis-or trans-form, and n is an integer from 1 to 10, preferably from 1 to 5.

    摘要: The invention relates to compounds which act as accelerators for hardenable epoxy and polyurethane systems. The inventive compounds are produced by means of a transamination reaction by reacting (a) a substituted phenolic compound (Mannich base) which has at least one substituent of formula (A) R1(R2)N-CH(R3)-, wherein R1 and R2, independently of each other, mean a linear or branched C1-4 alkyl and R3 means hydrogen, methyl, ethyl or phenyl with (b) a compound of formula (B) R4(R5)N-CnH2n-(NH-CnH2n)q-NH2, wherein R4 and R5, independently of each other, mean C1-C6-alkyl or together form a radical of formula -(CH2)5- or-(CH2)2-O-(CH2)2, n being a whole number from 2 to 5 and q being zero, 1, 2, or 3. The resulting compound or the compounds in the resulting mixture have at least one substituent of formula (R4)(R5)N-CnH2n-(NH-CnH2n)q-NH-CH(R3)- per molecule on average. The invention also relates to the use of the inventive compounds as accelerators in hardenable systems, preferably in hardenable epoxy and polyurethane systems.

In said formulas, A represents an aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, araliphatic or aromatic radical of the value (n + 1) and n is a whole number from 0 to 5, E represents an aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, araliphatic or aromatic radical of the value (m + 1) and m is a whole number from 0 to 3, X stands for -O-, -COO-, or -CHR4-, whereby R4 and R3 together form an ethylene group, R1 and R2 independently of one another represent hydrogen or methyl, R3 represents hydrogen or R3 and R4 together form an ethylene group, and R5 represents a monovalent aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, araliphatic or aromatic radical. The inventive compounds are highly reactive hardening agents for epoxy resins and produce hardened products with improved chemical resistance.
