In a normal operation state, a power supply that is applied from a power supply unit is provided to a hybrid controller and an engine controller, while when the emergency switch is pressed, the input power supply is intercepted to effectively stop the operation of the hybrid system in the case where equipment abnormality or an emergency situation occurs. Also, when the emergency switch is pressed, the power supply is applied to an emergency alarm unit and an energy discharge unit to notify an operator and neighboring persons of the equipment abnormality and emergency situation occurrence, and a hybrid power source vanishes completely.

A hybrid construction machine is disclosed, which comprises an engine, a generator, the generator connected to the engine, a converter connected to the generator, and an ESS (Energy Storage System) connected to the converter. The hybrid construction machine further comprises a converter current detector positioned either between the converter and the generator or between the converter and the ESS to detect the current flowing between the converter and the generator, an ESS current detector positioned between the converter and the ESS to detect the current flowing between the converter and the ESS, a processing unit receiving the current detected from the converter current detector and the ESS current detector and calculating the operation time of the respective component, and a display unit displaying the operation time of the respective component. Since the hybrid construction machine calculates the operation time of the respective component and displays the same to an operator, the operator can properly perform the maintenance and repair in the proper time.

Disclosed is a swing control system for a hybrid construction machine, in which the swing inertia of a hybrid construction machine is detected to drive a swing motor by a certain swing acceleration irrespective of changes in the swing inertia. According to the present invention, a swing control system for a hybrid construction machine comprises: a swing operating lever; an electric swing motor which is driven according to the operation of the swing operating lever; a speed detection sensor which detects the rotary speed of a swing motor; a controller that calculates the driving speed of the swing motor by a swing operating signal created by the operation of the swing operating lever and by a detecting signal of the rotary speed, which is fed back from the speed detection sensor; an inverter which drives the swing motor by a control signal from the controller; a swing inertia detector that detects the swing inertia of equipment, which is changed according to positional changes of a working device, and outputs a torque compensation value in accordance with equipment inertia; and an inertia torque compensator which compares the torque compensation value in accordance with the equipment inertia, detected by the swing inertia detector, with a torque value from the controller, and outputs a calculated torque value for controlling the swing motor to the inverter.

A discharge system of a stored energy for a construction machine is provided, which includes the energy storage, an electric discharge device discharging energy stored in the energy storage, and an energy cooling portion increasing the heat dissipation capacity of the electric discharge device by cooling heat generated in the electric discharged device for a time when the energy stored in the energy storage is discharged to the electric discharge device. Since the heat generated in the electric discharge device is cooled by a cooling device while the energy stored in the energy storage is discharged to the electric discharge device, the heat dissipation capacity of the electric discharge device is increased to shorten the discharge time. Also, the operation period of the cooling device is controlled in proportion to the residual voltage of the energy storage, and thus the cooling efficiency is maximized.
