摘要: An engine (1) is a diesel engine, where a roller (80) that is a rolling body for a tappet for driving a plunger (84) is brought into contact with a cam (21) on a camshaft (13), and thereby a fuel injection pump (12) is driven. A roller tappet (82) supporting the rolling body is provided on a tappet guide (91) that is a projection for limiting the swing of the support portion. Further, a guide groove (92) in which the projection fits is provided in a slide portion (2b) that slidably fits on the support portion. The structure above enables the rolling body and the cam that is in contact with the rolling body to be prevented from wearing, and also enables slide stroke control of the plunger to be maintained at high accuracy.
