摘要: A straddled vehicle includes a brake servo device capable of boosting brake hydraulic pressure depending on the brake hydraulic pressure generated by at least one of the master cylinder of the front-wheel braking operation element and the master cylinder of the rear-wheel braking operation element. When one braking operation element for actuating the associated one master cylinder has been operated while the vehicle is in an off state where the main switch is off and the straddled vehicle is stationary or where the main switch is off and the rider is moving the straddled vehicle, the associated one of the wheel cylinders is actuated by the brake hydraulic pressure generated by the one master cylinder without receiving a brake hydraulic pressure resulting from a boost by the brake servo device.

摘要: A brake hydraulic-pressure control device includes: an electric actuator capable of controlling the brake hydraulic pressure acting on the wheel cylinder; a braking operation condition detection unit for detecting the operation condition of the braking operation element; a drive signal generation unit for defining the relationship between the operation condition of the braking operation element and the drive signal for the electric actuator and generating a drive signal for driving the electric actuator depending on the operation condition of the braking operation element; and a vehicle condition quantity detection unit for detecting a vehicle condition quantity, where, when the braking operation element has been operated in the direction for increasing braking force and the vehicle condition amount has exceeded a predetermined threshold, the drive signal generation unit is configured to be capable of changing the relationship between the operation condition of the braking operation element and the drive signal for the electric actuator so as to reduce the amount of increase in the brake hydraulic pressure acting on the wheel cylinder in relation to a unit operation amount of the braking operation element.

摘要: A straddled vehicle includes a front-wheel braking operation element, a rear-wheel braking operation element and a brake hydraulic-pressure control device. The brake hydraulic-pressure control device includes: an electric actuator capable of controlling the brake hydraulic pressure acting on the wheel cylinder of one of the front-wheel and rear-wheel brakes; one braking operation condition detection unit for detecting the operation condition of one braking operation element; a drive signal generation unit for generating a drive signal for driving the electric actuator; and an external input unit to which an operation device operable by a person may be connected. The drive signal generation unit defines the correlation between the operation condition of the one braking operation element and the drive signal for the electric actuator. The drive signal generation unit includes a correlation changing unit for changing the correlation between the operation condition of the one braking operation element and the drive signal for the electric actuator depending on a signal received by the external input unit from the outside.

摘要: A leaning vehicle includes: a vehicle-body frame; a front wheel and a rear wheel; a front-wheel brake and a rear-wheel brake; a front-wheel braking operation element and a rear-wheel braking operation element; and an interlock braking apparatus. The interlock braking apparatus controls the braking force for the front wheel and that for the rear wheel in such a manner that the ratio between the braking force for the front wheel and the braking force for the rear wheel which are applied when one of the front-wheel and rear-wheel braking operation elements is being operated and the other is not being operated varies depending on whether the leaning vehicle is travelling on a downhill or uphill slope or on a horizontal road surface.
