摘要： The invention relates to an elastomeric journal bearing, comprising a metal inner part (1), an outer tube (2) enclosing the inner part (1), and a elastomeric bearing element (3) arranged between the inner part (1) and the outer tube (2) and connected thereto by vulcanization. The substantially cylindrical outer tube (2) is composed of a plastic. In order to increase the press-out force of the journal bearing, which is to be accommodated by an accommodating eye (5), the outer tube (2) of the journal bearing has a thin casing (4) in the form of an elastomeric layer vulcanized on the outer tube (2). Said elastomeric casing (4) has a thickness (d) of less than 2 mm. According to an especially advantageous embodiment, the elastomeric casing is designed as a rubber skin having a thickness (d) of 0.2 mm or less.

With regard to the production of a base element (2) which is provided in an effective way with an anti-corrosion coating, but can nevertheless be adapted individually for different installation situations and can be produced economically in the process, it is proposed by the present invention to configure fastening holes (15A, 15B) to form at least two hole patterns (A, B) and to render at least one of the hole patterns (B) unusable by way of the formation of the elastomer on the base body (4).
