The invention relates to a method for production of a body from a thermoplastic plastic, with a three-dimensional structured surface, characterised in that the moulding is achieved directly from a master made from a glass coated with metal oxide, without application of further coatings on the surface of said master . The invention further relates to bodies produced by the above method from a thermoplastic plastic with a three-dimensional structured surface, and optionally, planar optical structures, produced by said method, for the generation of evanescent field measuring platforms and the use thereof.
