The invention relates to a use of pentamers for producing a medicament used for the treatment of a tumor disease or an autoimmune disease in a mammal or human. Said pentamers are formed of five subunits, each of which comprises a first amino acid sequence and at least one second amino acid sequence that adjoins the N-terminal or C-terminal end of the first amino acid sequence. The first amino acid sequence is composed of an amino acid sequence that forms a structure of the coat protein of a papovavirus or parvovirus or a portion of said amino acid sequence which is sufficient to form the pentamers while the second amino acid sequence represents an amino acid sequence forming at least one epitope of the tumor or at least one epitope causing the autoimmune disease, the tumor not being caused by the papovavirus or parvovirus. The inventive pentamers are not provided in an assembled form as capsoids.
