Le cathéter (1) est à paroi double sur une partie substantielle de sa longueur, la paroi intérieure (5) étant dotée à l'extérieur et/ou la paroi extérieure (6) à l'intérieur de profils longitudinaux pour former des passages longitudinaux séparés (3) entre les parois (5, 6). Les passages (3) sont percés depuis l'extérieur du cathéter grâce à une pluralité de capillaires (4). Dans au moins certains des passages (3), on prévoit d'introduire un fluide, par exemple de l'air comprimé ou un liquide, ou une substance similaire à une crème ou un gel, afin d'obtenir une lubrification des membranes muqueuses de la cavité pendant l'insertion. On évite ainsi l'irritation des membranes muqueuses de la cavité somatique pendant l'insertion, tout en rendant possible des périodes d'insertion plus longues sans risque d'infection.

A compressible tube for transporting liquids especially infusion solutions, a flow regulator being attachable at a preferred position along said tube, said flow regulator regulates the flow area of the tube by pressure action. The object of the invention is to provide a tube which withstands very strongly compressed deformations without the occur- once of cold flow and which directly after the discontinuence of the clamping pressure resumes its shape and which is extrudable without any further processing. These objects have been solved by the fact that the tube (10) consists of thinner (11) and thicker (12) wall portions as seen in cross-section, said thinner wall portions (11) being located at the corner portions of a triangle or polygon as seen in cross-section, the connecting portions of which between the corners being formed by the thicker wall portions (12).

A device for regulating the flow rate in the tube, e.g. in infusion- and transfusion assemblies. The flow rate can be regulated by twisiting a portion of the tube by means of a twisting device. The tube comprises at least along the portion of its length which is intended to be twisted a plurality of separate or communicating flow passages (26). Between said flow passages there are provided distance members (12) arranged about or forming an inner core in the tube about which the tube is twisted and which reduces compression of the tube. When the tube is twisted the free space between said distance members is gradually reduced in the twisted cross-section of the tube and by that the flow is reduced.

The suction nozzle comprises a sleeve member (3) arranged at the front end of the suction conduit (1, 12) and which forms the suction opening (2) of the device. The sleeve member (3) is by a resilient member (4) held in a first position, suction position, in which it covers side passages (5.6;15) to the suction conduit (1) and in which suction is performed through the suction opening (2). If the pressure difference immediately inside and outside the suction opening (2) exceeds a certain value, e.g. if the suction opening is stopped up, the sleeve member (3) is against the action of the resilient member (4) automatically displaced to a second position in which said side passages (5,6;15) to the suction conduit are opened, thereby reducing the suction force in the suction opening (2).
