New movies from content providers are often made available on the Internet before being launched in the cinemas. Pre-released movies like DVD Videos for journalists are the main reason for this situation because some journalists seem to make these movies available to the Internet users. However, this causes significant harm to the content providers. According to the invention, the pre-releases are still DVD Videos or other conventional video formats but the playback of such encoded video signal is not possible using only a conventional DVD player or DVD player software because the playback requires additional hardware. An additional box (CP splitter box) splits the original video signal into two different video signals to be projected using two different beamers (A, B) which both are required for generating the whole video content. The beamers have different locations each with a different angle to the silver screen, and each beamer generates only a part of the video.

The semiconductor material is n-doped particularly such that the reflectivity of the semiconductor material is increased, for example for providing a reflectivity factor above 0,9, when irradiated with a laser beam. As a semiconductor material advantageously an indium alloy and as a doping material selenium or tellurium can be used. For the manufacturing of a respective optical storage medium a sputtering method for depositing the doped semiconductor as the mask layer can be used, wherein the semiconductor material is for example InSb and the dopant is included already in the semiconductor sputtering target.

The present invention relates to a method for demodulation of a data page in a holographic storage system, and to a holographic storage system using such method. According to the invention, a method for demodulating a data page in a holographic storage system has the steps of: - performing an adaptive learning process (20) for adapting a demodulation mechanism (17), and - demodulating (30) the data page with the adapted demodulation mechanism. For the adaptive learning process training data with known code words are used. The training data are correlated with the data acquired by the detector. The correlation step includes a principal axis transformation (PAT), a principal component analysis (PCA) and a K-nearest-neighbours (KNN) classification of the code blocks of the holographic data page.
