摘要： An ultrasonic dehydration device applied to a filter of ceramic material, textile material or of any other material or porous structure acting by vacuum or by pressure, for solid-liquid separation in suspensions of solid particles. The ultrasonic device acts on the sludge paste ("cake") that is formed on the surface of the filter as a result of the filtering cycle in the liquid medium. The device is comprised of one or several transducers (5) that irradiate in direct contact with the "cake" (3) formed on the surface of the filter (1). The device acts during the dehydrating step of the "cake", in other words, when the filter is outside the suspension. The invention presented here is oriented to the device for applying the ultrasonic process to a conventional filtering system activated by vacuum or pressure.

The device consists of a chamber housing a hollow cylinder (18) with perforated surface enveloped by a fine wire mesh strip. The molten plastic enters the space in the chamber not occupied by the hollow cylinder and under pressure passes through the mesh (which retains the impurities) and the perforated surface of the cylinder, finishing in the cavity of the above-mentioned cylinder which communicates with the outlet. The section of mesh that envelopes the cylinder is part of a moving strip fed by an external coil which enters the device clean on one side and, after enveloping the hollow cylinder, once clogged and therefore no longer efficient, is fed out from the opposite side of the device.
