For this purpose, a substance is melted in a first volume flow (2) by raising the temperature to above the melting point thereof. A second volume flow (3) having a working fluid with a temperature that is below the melting point is mixed turbulently with the first volume flow so that droplets are formed from the substance, are cooled down by the second volume flow (3) to form particles and are separated. The working fluid and the particles form the dispersion. Emulsifiers for stabilizing the emulsion are not needed.
