摘要:
The present invention relates to a process for the hydrotreatment of a vegetal biomass. Specifically, the present invention relates to a process for the hydrotreatment of a vegetal biomass comprising: a) subjecting said vegetal biomass to a hydrotreatment in a first reactor, said hydrotreatment comprises contacting said vegetal biomass in an aqueous medium and a metal oxide, a mixed metal oxide, or a metal-metalloid oxide catalyst comprising at least 35% by weight of metal oxide, mixed metal oxide, or metal-metalloid oxide relative to the total weight of the catalyst, with hydrogen at a pressure in the range of 10 to 400 bar and at a temperature in the range of 50° C. to 300° C. until a predetermined level of the hydrotreatment of said biomass is obtained and wherein the metal oxide, a mixed metal oxide, or a metal-metalloid oxide catalyst comprises nickel. Further, the present invention relates to a metal oxide, mixed metal oxide or metal-metalloid oxide catalyst. Furthermore, the present invention relates to the use of the catalyst.
摘要:
A catalyst for the production of methacrylic acid by the vapor-phase catalytic oxidation and/or oxidative dehydrogenation of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of methacrolein, isobutyl aldehyde, and isobutyric acid and a method for the production of methacrylic acid by the use of this catalyst are provided. The catalyst of this invention comprises (A) a composite oxide having Mo and P as essential components and used for the production of methacrylic acid by vapor-phase catalytic oxidation and/or oxidative dehydrogenation of methacrolein, isobutyl aldehyde, and/or isobutyric acid and (B) a solid acid having acid strength (Ho) of not more than -11.93. Since this catalyst excels in catalytic activity and service life, it allows methacrylic acid to be produced stably at a high yield for a long time.

A molded or supported catalyst excellent in mechanical strengths for use in synthesizing methacrolein and methacrylic acid from isobutylene or tert-butyl alcohol is produced by coating the surface of a molded or supported catalyst based on molybdenum, bismuth and iron with a highly depolymerizable organic polymer. The catalyst is used after removing the polymer by depolymerizing it by heating the catalyst in a reactor.

The process for producing methacrylic acid and methacrolein of the present invention comprises the step of subjecting isobutane to gas phase catalytic oxidation with molecular oxygen by the use of a catalyst comprising either a heteropolyacid salt or a mixture of a heteropolyacid and a salt thereof, said catalyst having the following composition determined for elements other than oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen, P a Mo b X c Y d Z e wherein P and Mo are phosphorus and molybdenum, respectively, X is at least one member selected from the group consisting of rubidium, cesium and thallium, Y is at lest one member selected from the group consisting of vanadium and arsenic, Z is at least one member selected from the group consisting of copper, silver, bismuth, iron, cobalt, antimony, lanthanum and cerium, the suffixes a, b, c, d and e indicate the atomic ratio between the elements, and a : b : c : d : e is at most 3 : 12 : at most 3 : at most 3 : O-3. According to said process, methacrylic acid and methacrolein can be directly obtained with high selectivity at a lower temperature than before by using a high concentration of isobutane, and moreover the catalytic lifetime is greatly improved.
