La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de corps de fût muni de joncs de roulement et corps de fût ainsi réalisés. Selon ce procédé le corps d'un fût (10ʹ) est muni d'une série de moulures (15ʹ) globalement déportées radialement vers l'intérieur du fût. De ce fait une crête (16ʹ) de la série de moulures se trouve dans le prolongement d'une partie centrale (20ʹ) non déformée de ce fût. Au moins l'une des crêtes de la série de moulure est par la suite expansée de sorte à créer un jonc de roulement à encombrement radial réduit et/ou à résistance mécanique accrue. La présente invention concerne également des corps de fût munis de joncs selon l'invention. La présente invention est destinée à être utilisée lors de la fabrication notamment de fût de capacité de 216 l et permet de placer côte à côte quatre fûts selon l'invention dans un conteneur présentant des dimensions normalisées.
