摘要: To provide a form-rolling device for various size tubes to create a groove in a position defined relative to the tube end. The device 1 provides a shaft portion 13 rotating about an axis C1, a convex-cross-sectional-shaped convex roller 14 projects outward from the circumference of the portion 13, a concave cross-sectional-shaped concave roller 15 rotating about a second axis parallel to C1 is disposed corresponding to the roller 14 along C1, and moving in approaching-separating direction from the roller 14, a tube-end positioning member 30 attached to the circumference of the portion 13 closer to a base end than the roller 14, and a distance along C1 between the member 30 and the roller 14, is varied, and a supporting member 57 supporting a ring member 51 fitted to the circumference of a tube 2 such that the member 51 is rotating about an axis C3 of the tube.

摘要: In a method of producing a corrugated tube, two half shells (2, 3), each running in a longitudinal direction, are formed from a flat sheet and are provided with corrugations (4, 5) which are oriented transversely to their longitudinal directions, wherein the two half shells (2, 3) are either arranged longitudinally next to one another in an individual sheet-metal part (1) or are separate parts. In the case of a design having two half shells arranged next to one another in a common sheet-metal part (1), the preformed sheet-metal part (1) is folded or bent in the region between the two half shells (2, 3) about an axis (19) lying parallel to the longitudinal directions of the half shells (2, 3), wherein free longitudinal edges of the half shells (2, 3) are brought into mutual contact and connected to one another. In the case of a design of the half shells (2, 3) in the form of separate parts, the two half shells (2, 3) are placed against one another with their longitudinal edges (16,17) and the longitudinal edges (16, 17) are connected to one another, at least one of the two longitudinal edges (16, 17), coming into mutual contact, of the partial shells (2, 3) is provided with a number of recesses (18) spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the partial shells (2, 3), and, by connecting sections of this longitudinal edge (16, 17) which lie between the recesses (18), a number of openings (22) through the lateral surface of the corrugated tube, which are spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the corrugated tube, are formed with the other longitudinal edge (16, 17) in the connecting region of the two longitudinal edges (16, 17).

摘要: Cross sections of both a mountain (2) and a valley (3) of a bellows-like tube wall (1) of a metal bellows tube are made to a letter-V shape. This enables to provide a metal bellows tube with a much better bending fatigue resistance property than that available in conventional products. A flexible tube for a high-pressure fluid is structured from the metal bellows tube and a tube-like metal knitted body covering the outer side of the bellows tube. This makes it possible that a high-pressure fluid with a pressure exceeding 20 MPa can be, and particularly, even a very high-pressure fluid with a pressure of 70 MPa can be safely transported without allowing molecules of the fluid to permeate the tube.

摘要: A method and apparatus for forming annularly-corrugated tubes (10) and cables utilizing a multiple gear corrugating head (30) which is rotated about the tube (10) or cable, to be corrugated as the tube or cable (10) is drawn through the head (30). Two or more of the gears (24) each have a different prime number of gear teeth (26) which form the corrugation (12). A radio-frequency cable (10) formed by the invention exhibits greater consistency and quality than cables produced by conventional corrugating gear heads, and in particular, show improved VSWR characteristics.
