Die Erfindung betrifft die Herstellung von profilierten Schlauchnippeln (10). Der Erfindung lag die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Verfahren zu schaffen, wodurch Schlauchnippel (10) der eingangs geschilderten Art unter Vermeidung von Gratbildung und ohne Durchmesserverringerung einfach herstellbar sind. Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, dass zunächst ein Vorformling (1) hergestellt wird, der eine Außendurchmesserveringerung (4) und eine Kalibrierung des Innendurchmessers (8) im Bereich (3, 11) des späteren Profils (12) erfährt und anschließend auf einem Dorn gehämmert wird. Durch die Durchmesserreduzierung und anschließende Kalibrierung ist der Vorformling (1) sehr präzise herstellbar und weist durch die Kaltverfestigung gute Festigkeitseigenschaften auf, die zu einem hochpräzisen Schlauchnippel (10) mit sehr guter Festigkeit führen, der ohne Löten oder Schweißen direkt aus einem Rohrabschnitt (1) herstellbar ist.

This enables to provide a metal bellows tube with a much better bending fatigue resistance property than that available in conventional products. A flexible tube for a high-pressure fluid is structured from the metal bellows tube and a tube-like metal knitted body covering the outer side of the bellows tube. This makes it possible that a high-pressure fluid with a pressure exceeding 20 MPa can be, and particularly, even a very high-pressure fluid with a pressure of 70 MPa can be safely transported without allowing molecules of the fluid to permeate the tube.

Two or more of the gears (24) each have a different prime number of gear teeth (26) which form the corrugation (12). A radio-frequency cable (10) formed by the invention exhibits greater consistency and quality than cables produced by conventional corrugating gear heads, and in particular, show improved VSWR characteristics.
