    摘要: Disclosed is a double-acting switch valve, which relates to continuous casting and solves the problem of low efficiency of carbon rod replacement. The double-acting switch valve includes a mounting bracket and two mutually backup sealing assemblies disposed on the mounting bracket, each of the two sealing assemblies comprising a carbon rod and a carbon rod moving assembly, the carbon rod moving assembly being configured to translate, and elevate or lower the carbon rod so as to block or open a metal liquid channel between two metal liquid furnaces. Two sealing assemblies which are mutually replaceable, where when the carbon rod on one of the sealing assemblies is worn down, the other sealing assembly may take its place to block the metal liquid outlet again via the carbon rod; and then the worn-down carbon rod is renewed. This design eliminates the time taken for replacing the carbon rod and can reduce the amount of the metal liquid discharged via the metal liquid outlet during replacement of the carbon rod.

Accordingly, as compared with an apparatus of an upper mold flip-up system, it is possible to simplify a structure of the casting apparatus 50 to reduce the casting apparatus 50 in size and weight.

    摘要: Devices for producing cylinder crankcases (22) using the low-pressure casting or gravity casting method are already known, comprising an outer casting mould (10) having mould parts (12, 14, 16, 18) which in the assembled state form a mould cavity (20) that depicts for casting purposes an outer contour of the cylinder crankcase (22), a dosing furnace (28) which contains liquid metal, and at least one section (30) which is arranged geodetically below the mould cavity (20) and via which the dosing furnace (28) can be fluidically connected to the mould cavity (20). However, the cylinder crankcases produced by the known devices often do not have sufficient strength in the region of the bosses or the cylinder head. It is therefore proposed that each section (30) is connected to a sprue bush (34) which projects into a region of the mould cavity (20) that forms a cylinder space (24) of the cylinder crankcase (22). This improves the filling and allows replenishment of high-mass sections of the cylinder crankcase.
