摘要: A mold fabrication element (120) has a hollowed volume (150) defining a respective continuous inner surface. A fabricator resource (140) disposes the mold fabrication element (120) into a cavity (220) of an injection mold assembly; surface contours on the inner surface of cavity as well as the respective continuous inner surface of the mold fabrication element exposed in the cavity define an outer surface of a resulting injection molded part. To create the injection molded part, the fabricator resource injects liquefied material into the cavity (220). The injected material contacts the continuous inner surface of the hollowed volume in the mold fabrication element as well as the surface contours of the cavity. After the injected material solidifies, the fabricator resource removes a combination of the injection molded part and the mold fabrication element. The fabricator resource separates the mold fabrication element from the injection molded part for further processing and use of the injection molded part.

摘要: The invention relates to a mold for manufacturing a sleeve for a container, such as a bottle or a flask, wherein the mold includes a die (10) including a main surface (11) and a movable portion (20) including a core (21) that is generally shaped like the container, wherein the die has a cavity (12) connected to an opening (13) of the main surface (11), and the core is inserted through said opening so as to close the mold, wherein the cavity (12) has a general shape that is the inverse of the general shape of the core and is appropriately sized so as to contain the core, the mold being characterized in that: the die has recesses (14) that are in communication with the cavity (12) and open onto the main surface (11), said recesses extending from the circumference of the opening (13) along a plane that is substantially parallel to the main surface; and the die also includes a ring (15) extending along a plane that is substantially parallel to the main surface, said ring including slots on the circumference thereof, wherein said ring is rotatably mounted between an open position, in which the slots of the ring are vertically adjacent to the recesses of the die, and a closed position, in which the slots are offset relative to the recesses of the die so as to partially close off the recesses. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a sleeve using the above-described mold, and to a sleeve.
