To provide a method for manufacturing a double-sided adhesive material suitable for the size and shape of various articles using a simple process without reducing the yield of the adhesive material that is used, and to provide an article with a double-sided adhesive material that uses the double-sided adhesive material obtained by this manufacturing method. [Resolution means] Liquid photo curing adhesive 12 is applied by direct drawing onto a specific region corresponding to the size and shape of an article to be used, on the surface of a first plate 10, using a robot. A sheet shaped second plate 20 is placed on the first plate 10 where the adhesive 12 was applied, such that the adhesive 12 is interposed between both plates. Light for curing the adhesive is then irradiated from both sides of the adhesive 12 so that the light will pass through both the first plate 10 and the second plate 20 and reach the adhesive 12.

The invention relates to a device for manufacturing models layer by layer. The inventive device comprises a frame (1), a vertically adjustable and exchangeable workpiece platform (17)m and a device for feeding the material comprising a coating applicator (4). Said coating applicator (4) serves to feed material from a storage container to a process zone above the workpiece platform (17), said workpiece platform (17) being fixed in the device at least during manufacturing of a model. The workpiece platform (17) is introduced on the one side of the device and extracted on the other side of the device.

A method for molding a plastic ophthalmic lens which comprises introducing a liquid polymerizable composition in a molding cavity of a two-piece mold through a filling nozzle in flow communication with the upper half of the molding cavity and spaced apart from the central vertical axis of the molding cavity up to the time the lower half of the molding cavity is filled. Then, tilting the mold to bring the filling in register with the central axis of the molding cavity and achieving full filling of the molding cavity. Thereafter, polymerizing the composition and recovering the lens.

The invention relates to a method of producing injection-molded parts in an injection-molding machine comprising an injection-mold with two mold halves (3, 7). The melt is applied onto the mold surface (10) of one mold half (3) by means of a melt feeding device when the injection mold is open. The melt is pressed into all areas of the die cavity by closing the mold halves (3, 7). The melt is applied onto the mold surface (10) by way of a hot runner plate (8) that is arranged above the mold surface (10) of the mold half (3) and that is provided with one or more melt feeding nozzles (9).
