    摘要: At the inner liner portion (22) of a tire (20) with a sensor, a pair of sensors consisting of first and second strain gauges (11A, 11B) are arranged at line-symmetric equidistant positions in the axial direction with respect to the axial center of the tire, and the distortion of a tire tread is measured. From a strain rate waveform obtained by time-differentiating a distortion waveform measured by the pair of sensors (11), stepping time strain rates, i.e. the peak values of strain rate occurring when the tire tread enters the contact part with the road surface, are detected as the indexes of deformation rate. Using the ratio of deformation rate indexes detected by the pair of sensors, and a map (15M) stored in a storage means (15) and indicating the relation between predetermined ratio of deformation rate indexes and the tire slip angle, slip angle of a vehicle under traveling conditions is estimated thus estimating the tire slip angle of the vehicle under traveling conditions precisely.
