    摘要： A tube or other container for storing and dispensing a product such as toothpaste, a lotion, a cream, etc., includes one or more creases. Initially, each crease can be in a contracted position, where the tube has a first volume when the crease is in the contracted position. Due to outgassing of the product and/or other factors, pressure may increase within the sealed tube. In response to the pressure increase, the one or more creases can deflect from the contracted position to an expanded position, where the tube has a second, increased volume when the crease is in the expanded position. Deflection of the one or more creases effectively increases the volume of the interior of the tube, and maintains pressure within the tube at a desirable level.

    摘要： A handheld antiseptic dispensing applicator device having a reservoir for storing an antiseptic agent, the reservoir being coupled to an applicator pad, and a defeatable membrane or barrier being interposed between the reservoir and the applicator pad. Embodiments of the device comprise a squeezable reservoir, wherein the internal hydraulic pressure of the squeezable reservoir is increased via user applied forces to thereby defeat the membrane releasing the antiseptic agent contained therein which is then absorbed by the applicator pad. The defeatable barrier or membrane is also removable or may be defeated in connection with other mechanisms according to various embodiments.

Located inside the filling nozzle is an elongate mandrel (20) of male type, and located on the outside around the open end of the outer tube is a centring sleeve (19) which maintains its position relative to the outer tube throughout the gap space-filling procedure.

    摘要： The invention relates to a method and a device for end closure of packaging tubes. In one embodiment, the tube which is to be sealed presents an intermediate wall having a surplus length across the tube cross section, and the intermediate wall being fixed at the filling end of the tube to the tube wall and elsewhere along two joining locations extending along the length of the tube. Between these joining locations and the fixing sites at the tube end there are material portions of the intermediate wall. A hot air nozzle with two sub-members forming a gap therebetween is inserted into the opening in the filling end, possibly with re-forming of the filling end, and parts of the intermediate wall and the inside of the tube intended for sealing are heat activated in a non-contacting manner. In another embodiment, the tube which is to be sealed presents an intermediate wall formed in one piece with the tube and joined to this along two joining locations extending along the length of the tube. A device producing a clamping action is pressed against the heat activated tube end and the intermediate wall. Said arrangement has a pair of clamping jaws arranged for translatory motion perpendicular to the tube axis and initially in a direction at an angle to a line through said joining locations.
