摘要： A unitary capseal (20) for a closure that is installed in a container includes an annular sidewall (40), a generally circular top panel (43)joined to the sidewall (40), a snap-on annular rim formed adjacent a lower edge of the sidewall, and an annular sealing lip formed adjacent the annular rim (42). The cooperating closure includes a serrated flange (22), a dosing plug (21) for threaded receipt by the flange (22), and a sealing gasket (24) positioned therewith. The container end is formed around the flange (22) interlocking with the flange serrations and creating an outer annular channel that receives the annular rim (42) for a snap-on assembly of the capseal (20) to the container end that in turn positions the capseal (20) over and around the closure. The sealing lip (45) extends radially outwardly from the sidewall (40) and includes a concave surface facing the container end for sealing off the interior portions of the closure from collecting debris.

Accordingly, it is possible to open and close the bottle cap merely with a simple operation with a single hand, to secure the area for the advertisemnt or the like sufficiently, to reduce the manufacturing costs by reducing the height of the bottle cap, and to increase the productivity by simplifying the manufacturing process.

摘要： A tamper-evident container and closure assembly is disclosed wherein the closure includes an anchor band (11) connected to a cap part (8) of the closure by frangible means (12), the anchor band (11) being provided internally with restraining means (13), to engage with external restraining means (6) on the container when the closure is first applied to the container and wherein the assembly includes means to prevent removal of the closure from the container by simple upward pressure while the anchor band (11) is connected to the cap part (8) of the closure, the arrangement being such that to remove the closure from the container it is necessary only to twist the cap part (8) of the closure which in turning relative to the anchor band (11) breaks the frangible means (12) whereupon the cap part (8) can be lifted off the container and the anchor band (11) can be discarded.
