This prevents portions of the peripheral side wall (33) from protruding into spaces behind front distal ends (12a) of side plates (12), and also prevents leakage of water due to reduced contact pressure between a piercing portion (23) and the mouth (31) of the container. The minimum height (H1) is determined so as be not higher than the peripheral side wall (33) of the raw water container (30) when water in the container is initially drawn out.

An improved multi fluid dispenser for simultaneous dispensing of a plurality of fluids is shown and described. The dispenser (40) includes a controller (66) that is linked to a coordinator board (65). The controller has a memory with a plurality of recipes stored in the memory. A coordinator board is linked to a first module (45). The first module may include one or two pumps (74), each connected to a fluid reservoir (69). The module is then linked in series to a plurality of other modules as well as a manifold module (46). Each module includes a module board (67) for controlling the pump or pumps of that module. The controller, coordinator board and module boards are all programmed for the simultaneous or sequential pumping of multiple fluids from the reservoirs through outlet nozzles of the manifold in accordance with a recipe selected by the user and retrieved from the memory of the controller.

Flexible bags (10) are located in the bulk transport containers (30) and transported to consumers of the product in required quantities. Flexible bags (10) are delivered to a consumer, the beverage or liquid food product being dispensed for consumption ban an end consumer. Through each step in the distribution method, hazard and critical control points during distribution and dispensing are minimised, the “one way” nature of the preferred embodiment of the method minimising recovery and recycling costs at well as potential hygiene problems associated with re-use of containers currently in use.
