A non-enzymatically self cleaving dipeptide element is provided that can be linked to known medicinal agents via an amide bond. The dipeptide will spontaneously be cleaved from the medicinal agent under physiological conditions through a reaction driven by chemical instability. Accordingly, the dipeptide element provides a means of linking various compounds to known medicinal agents wherein the compounds are subsequently released from the medicinal agent after a predetermined time of exposure to physiological conditions. For example, the dipeptide can be linked to an active site of a drug to form a prodrug and/or the dipeptide may comprise a depot polymer to sequester an injectable composition comprising the complex at the point of administration.

There is provided a gelator that is capable of forming a gel by an extremely small amount of addition in a wide pH range from acidic to alkaline regions, and a gel having high environmental compatibility, biocompatibility, and biodegradability. A gelator comprising: a lipid peptide of Formula (1) wherein R 1 is a C 9-23 aliphatic group, R 2 is a hydrogen atom or a C 1-4 alkyl group optionally having a C 1-2 branched chain, R 3 is a -(CH 2 ) n -X group, n is a number from 1 to 4, and X is an amino group, a guanidino group, a -CONH 2 group, or a 5-membered ring optionally having 1 to 3 nitrogen atoms, a 6-membered ring optionally having 1 to 3 nitrogen atoms, or a fused heterocycle including a 5-membered ring and a 6-membered ring that optionally has 1 to 3 nitrogen atoms); or a pharmaceutically usable salt of the lipid peptide.
摘要:
A novel enzyme by which a peptide can be conveniently and economically produced at a high yield without employing any complicated synthesis method. More specifically speaking, it is intended to provide a novel enzyme catalyzing a reaction of forming a peptide from a carboxy component and an amine component; a microorganism producing this enzyme; and a process for economically producing a peptide with the use of the above enzyme or the above microorganism. A novel enzyme capable of efficiently forming a peptide is found out in a bacterium belonging to the genus Empedobacter, which is newly found out, and thus a process for economically and conveniently producing a peptide is found out.

The invention relates to compounds of general formula (I) and acid addition salts thereof, where the various symbols have the meanings given in the description and claims, the production and use thereof as substrate for the detection of TAFIa, a fibrinolysis inhibiting enzyme. The detection occurs by using the absorption between 400 and 412 nm, arising as a result of the formation of 3-carboxy-4-nitrothiophenol from Ellman's reagent as a function of time.
摘要:
The present invention relates to compounds of Formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate, hydrate or formulation thereof. These compounds can be used for the inhibition of tryptase and for the treatment and/or prevention of diseases that are mediated by tryptase activity.
