Die Erfindung beziehtsich auf eine hydraulisch angetriebene Hochdruck-Kolbenpumpe zur Förderung von heissen oder kalten Fördermedien mit Feststoffpartikeln, wie z.B. einer Kohlenmaische. The method for cleaning chemical process and hydrocarbon processing apparatuses is performed by establishing a closed flow circulation loop, under specific operating conditions and in the presence of hydrocarbon-based fluids. The cleaning method is monitored by performing chemical/physical analysis. After cleaning the apparatus(es) can be immediately inserted back into the process. An optional degassing step can also be performed, in case the apparatus(es) has to be disassembled for inspection of maintenance.

A coke oven door frame cleaning apparatus ofthis invention provides complete cleaning of the door frame (6), more particularly, the sealing surface (7) and the inner surface (8) of the door frame (6). The cleaning apparatus completely washes away by means of high pressured fluid the tary deposits persistently stuck on the surfaces. Possible damage on these surfaces (7, 8) due to cutters and/or scrapers is avoided. The apparatus comprises an upstanding main frame (13) mounted on a carriage (10) and supporting two upstanding sub-frames (2, 3) each carrying nozzles (9) to which the pressure fluid is supplied. The nozzles (9) on alarger one (2) of the sub-frames direct the pressure fluid onto the sealing surface (7) whilst the nozzles on a smaller one (3) of the sub-frames direct fluid onto the inner surface (8) of the oven door frame (6), the sub-frames (2, 3) being positionally adjustable on the main frame (13).

In the above-mentioned decoking method, by firstly pressurizing the metal cavity and then depressurizing same rapidly, substances such as volatile hydrocarbons, water and so on inside a coke block are vaporized rapidly due to the drastic change in the pressure difference, and then the coke block is burst and detached from the inner wall of the metal cavity, and finally the decoking work is completed. The above-mentioned decoking method is rapid, simple and easy to operate, and the decoking efficiency can be greatly improved.
