摘要: A process for the regeneration of waste oils is disclosed, comprising a fractioned distillation in a packed column (21) and hydrorefining and grinding of bitumen and any sediment from other steps, said grinding yielding a liquid fraction, collected as product, and a solid fraction, recycled to the first process steps. The oil to be regenerated is then fed to the process divided into two separate fractions, a better-quality one and a lower-quality one, containing more impurities, said better-quality fraction undergoing flash distillation, centrifugation and dehydration, to then be sent to the distillation packed column (21), while said worse-quality fraction undergoes homogenisation, grinding and decanting, the liquid phase which is obtained following these operations being mixed with the better-quality fraction and the solid phase being recycled to the homogenisation step. A plant for the implementation of the process is also disclosed. Such a plant comprises a packed distillation column (21) and a reactor (27) for hydrorefining and has two feeds (1; 2) of oil to be regenerated and at least one grinding unit (5) of the solid sediments and at least one centrifugal separator (13).

摘要: A process includes continuous steps and batch steps for recycling waste oil, fuel or antifreeze. The continuous steps include determining the volume of waste; pumping waste toward a distillation vessel; mixing waste with heated waste, and while flowing the waste into the distillation vessel performing steps of: maintaining a vacuum; heating the waste; returning a first portion of heated waste to the distillation vessel and a second-portion to mix with the waste feed; sending gaseous vapors to a condenser; returning some condensed liquid to the distillation vessel; and delivering condensed liquid as a product. The batch steps include: stopping waste flow into the distillation vessel; reducing pressure; heating the waste; returning the heated waste to the distillation vessel; condensing gaseous vapors; returning some condensed effluent to the distillation vessel; delivering some condensed effluent as a first product; and delivering heated waste as a second product.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for reprocessing waste oils and producing high-grade base oils, whereby waste oil is treated by means of distillation, thin-film evaporation in a high vacuum, optional fractionation for separation into layers of different viscosities and subsequent extraction with N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone and/or N-formylmorpholine. The invention also relates to base oils that can be obtained by said method and to the use thereof. The inventive method is characterized in that approximately any waste oil can be used, including waste oils with polychlorinated biphenylene (PCB) or PCB substitutes with contents of up to 250 mg/kg. Furthermore, waste oils containing up to 5 % vegetable oil can be present in the waste oil that is to be reprocessed without impairing the quality of the base oil. The undesirable constituents, especially polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and polychlorinated biphenylenes (PCB) or the substitutes thereof are removed in an almost quantitative manner.

摘要: A used lubricating oil comprising lube oil additives, including zinc dithiophosphate is subjected to reclaiming. Zinc dithiophosphate is thermally decomposed at a temperature of 400°F (204°C) to 1000°F (538°C) for a residence time of 10 to 120 minutes. The resulting oil is subjected to vacuum distillation. A zinc-free (i.e. ash free by ASTM D-482) distillate oil is useful as marine diesel fuel. About 5 to 25 vol % is recovered as a metal containing bottoms product, useful as asphalt extender. The process is carried out in the absence of chemical demetallizing.

摘要: A process for heating used lubricating oil (ULO) to dehydrate and/or recover distillable components therefrom, is disclosed. The ULO feed is heated by direct contact heat exchange with a non-pyrolyzing molten fluid, molten metal, or molten salt, preferably maintained as a continuous phase bath, operating at a temperature above the boiling point of water and below 600°C. The ULO feed is heated and at least partially vaporized in, or above, or by contact with the molten fluid. Lubricant boiling range hydrocarbons are recovered as a vapor product. The additive package in the ULO, or decomposition products thereof, are recovered as a liquid phase.
