Abstract:
A resin-coated high-tension flat steel wire includes a high-tension flat steel wire and a fiber-reinforced polyamide resin coated layer. A shape of the high-tension flat steel wire when viewed from a section perpendicular to a longitudinal direction thereof is a rectangular shape including curved portions at four comers thereof. When, among four straight lines that form the rectangular section, the ranges from both end points of the straight lines that form long sides to one fourth of the length of the straight lines are respectively defined as one-fourth segments, a shape of the fiber-reinforced polyamide resin coated layer in the rectangular section includes a mountain shape having an apex within each of the one-fourth segments, and includes a minimum point, where the thickness of the fiber-reinforced polyamide resin coated layer is the minimum, between the apex and both the ends within each of the one-fourth segments.
Abstract:

Abstract:
An elevator rope is provided with a belt-shaped rope main body. The rope main body has: a plurality of strands disposed at a distance from each other in a width direction of the rope main body; and a coating body made of resin for covering and integrating the strands, and a plurality of gaps extending along a longitudinal direction of the strands are each disposed at a distance from each other in a longitudinal direction of the strands in a portion of the coating body between mutually-adjacent strands.
Abstract:
A rope for elevator, comprising a belt-like rope body, the rope body further comprising a plurality of strands disposed at specified intervals in the lateral direction of the rope body and resin cover body covering the strands to form the strands and the resin cover body integrally with each other, wherein a plurality of spaces extending along the longitudinal direction of the strands are provided in the portion of the cover body between the adjacent strands at intervals in the longitudinal direction of the strands.
Abstract:
A self-wrapping, textile sleeve for routing and protecting elongate members from exposure to abrasion, thermal and other environmental conditions and method on construction thereof. The sleeve has an elongate wall constructed from interlaced yams having interstices between adjacent yarns. At least one of the yarns is heat formed at one temperature to form the wall as a self-wrapping wall curling about a longitudinal axis of the sleeve. The wall has an inner surface providing a generally tubular cavity in which the elongate members are received. The wall also has an outer surface with a cured layer thereon. The cured layer is cured at the one temperature at which the yams are heat formed into their self-wrapping configuration, wherein the cured layer fills the interstices between adjunct yarns to form an impervious layer on the wall.
