Provided is a flame-blocking nonwoven fabric having excellent processability and high flame-blocking properties. The flame-blocking nonwoven fabric has a density of 200 kg/m 3 or more and comprises non-melting fibers A whose high-temperature shrinkage rate is 3% or less and whose Young' s modulus multiplied by the cross-sectional area of the fibers is 2.0 N or less, and thermoplastic fibers B whose LOI value is 25 or more as determined according to JIS K 7201-2 (2007) .

An article comprises an inorganic filler, fully hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol fibers, a polymer binder, and high surface area fibers. The article can be formed as an electrically insulating paper for electrical equipment, such as a liquid filled transformer, which can thereby be substantially cellulose free.

A method of producing a nonwoven material by hydroentangling a fiber mixture containing spunlaid filaments, natural fibers and synthetic staple fibers, wherein a fibrous web of natural fibers and at least 10% by fiber weight of manmade staple fibers is wetlaid by means of an inclined wire formation, the wetlaid fibrous web is hydroentangled in a first hydroentangling station and spunlaid filaments are laid on top of said hydroentangled wetlaid fibrous web to form a combined web. The combined web is hydroentangled in a second hydroentangling station.

Provided are biomass-based materials and valuable uses of microalgal biomass including: (i) acetylation of microalgal biomass to produce a material useful in the production of thermoplastics; (ii) use of triglyceride containing microalgal biomass for production of thermoplastics; (iii) combination of microalgal biomass and at least one type of plant polymer to produce a material useful in the production of thermoplastics; (iv) anionization of microalgal biomass to form a water absorbant material; (v) cationization of microalgal biomass, and optional flocculation, to form a water absorbant material; (vi) crosslinking of anionized microalgal biomass; (vii) carbonization of microalgal biomass; and (viii) use of microalgal biomass in the making of paper.
摘要:
The present invention relates to a sound absorbing sheet having excellent sound absorbing performance and surface decorative effects. The sound absorbing sheet of the present invention is characterized by comprising a base and having an average sound absorption of 0.4 or higher in a frequency range of 200 to 2000Hz. The permeability and air porosity of a base layer of the sound absorbing sheet of the present invention may be adjusted, thereby achieving significantly superior effects of sound absorbing performance despite the thinness of the sound absorbing sheet.
