    摘要: A core sample catcher for a coring tool includes at least one flap catcher member movably coupled to an inner barrel of the coring tool. The at least one flap catcher member is configured to move between a first position and a second position. A passageway extending through the inner barrel is at least substantially un-occluded by the at least one flap catcher member in the first position and at least partially occluded by the at least one flap catcher member in the second position. The core sample catcher also includes a piston member located and configured to retain the at least one flap catcher member in the first position. The piston member is sized and configured to release the at least one flap catcher member as the piston is forced upward within the inner barrel by the core sample. Components are provided and assembled to form core sample catchers.

    摘要: The invention relates to an underwater drilling device and a method for obtaining and analysing soil samples of the bed of a body of water. An underwater drilling device with a base frame is lowered in a body of water and placed on the bed of a body of water. With a drilling drive that is mounted on the base frame and able to move vertically, a drill string consisting of at least one tubular drill string element is drilled into the bed of the body of water in a first drilling step, wherein a core sample is accommodated in a holder in the tubular drill string element. The holder with the core sample is stored in a storage location of a second storage region on the base frame. Subsequently, at least one further drilling step is carried out with a further drill string element. By means of at least one sensor device arranged on a base frame in a surrounding area of the drilling axis, at least one physical and/or chemical property of the core sample is determined. The data thus determined is saved in a data processing device together with data relating to the storage location of the core sample in the second storage region.

    摘要: A device for taking a soil sample can be used both in cooperation with a handling device and as a hand boring rod. The device has a probe (1) with a cylindrical tubular casing (9) the head end of which has a handling device (28) that closes the end of the probe (1) nearer the head of the tubular casing and that can be proviced with a percussion accessory (36) or with a connecting device to the handling device. The tubular casing (9) delimits a receiving space for the sample (7) or for a container for receiving the sample. The receiving space opens into the through channel of a tip (10) arranged at the foot end of the tubular casing, and a nonreturn device consisting of at least two spring wires (23) projects into the receiving space. To reduce the forces required for insertion and withdrawal, the tip (10) can be designed as a double conical frustum and have a casing section (17) which projects radially above the tubular casing (9).
