Abstract:
Various dispensing devices, such as foaming soap pumps, are disclosed. The soap pump can include a fluid storage unit and a fluid handling unit. The fluid storage unit can include a reservoir that is configured to hold a quantity of product, such as liquid soap. The fluid handling unit can include a pumping assembly and dispensing assembly. The soap pump can be configured to withdraw liquid soap from the reservoir, convert the liquid soap to foamed soap, and dispense the foamed soap from the discharge assembly.
Abstract:
A serving utensil comprises a handle having a gripping portion that is gripped by the user. A serving receptacle is operatively connected to the handle. There is mounted to the serving utensil a serving scraper having a resilient arm with a bowed shape. The resilient arm has a scraping end and a mounting end. A mounting means at the mounting end is for mounting the resilient arm to the serving utensil forwardly of the gripping portion of the utensil used to grip the utensil and rearwardly of the serving receptacle. A scraper-remover is disposed at the scraper end of the resilient arm so that food can be scraped off of the food receptacle of the utensil when the serving scraper is actuated by the user.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a pump unit (2), replaceably attachable to a reusable backend (3) of an injection arrangement (1) for delivering a liquid medicament, the pump unit (2) comprising a medicament inlet (2.1), a medicament outlet (2.2) and a peristaltic pump for delivering the liquid medicament from the inlet (2.1) to the outlet (2.2), the peristaltic pump comprising a pump rotor (2.3) and a pump hose (2.4), the pump hose (2.4) partially arranged around the pump rotor (2.3), the pump rotor (2.3) having protrusions (2.5) for engaging the pump hose (2.4), wherein a fixing side (2.6) of the pump unit (2) facing a reusable backend (3) when attached has a recess (2.7) in the shape of a circular arc for allowing a correspondingly shaped stop (3.1) protruding from the reusable backend (3) to enter into the pump unit (2) so as to support the pump hose (2.4) from an outer side opposite the pump rotor (2.3) thus allowing the protrusions (2.5) to locally squeeze the pump hose (2.4) against the stop (3.1) when attached to the reusable backend (3).
Abstract:
A portable fluid exchange system comprises a source container, a liquid and vapor pump for pumping liquid from the source container to the destination container and for pumping vapor from the destination container to the source container. The liquid inlet and vapor outlets of the liquid and vapor pump are connected in fluid communication with the source container. A liquid delivery hose delivers liquid from the pump to the destination container. A vapor delivery hose delivers vapor from the destination container to the pump. A selectively controllable actuation mechanism actuates the liquid and vapor pump to thereby concurrently pump liquid from the liquid and vapor pump through the liquid outlet and vapor into the liquid and vapor pump through the vapor inlet, and concurrently pump vapor from the liquid and vapor pump through the vapor outlet and liquid into the liquid and vapor pump through the liquid inlet.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a hydraulic aggregate, particularly for supplying conveyor and lifting devices with pressurized fluid, having a tank (1) on the end side relative to a main axis of the device and functional components mounted thereon, comprising at least one hydraulic pump (5) and one coupling body (3) having a valve device and a line arrangement for drawing in and returning hydraulic fluid to and from the tank (1), characterized in that it is configured as a reversing aggregate, wherein the inlet end (19) of the suction line (15) of the line arrangement is disposed at a location within the tank (1) where the bottom of the fluid present in the tank (1) is located when the aggregate is operated with the main axis vertical and when the aggregate is operated with the main axis tilted relative to the vertical, preferably perpendicular to the vertical.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for injecting a drug especially insulin into the human or animal body using a motor-driven pump head which can easily and rapidly be exchanged.
