Sie enthält ein als in sich geschlossener Ringkörper ausgebildetes Dichtelement (16), das eine ununterbrochene umlaufende Dichtlippe (22) mit gummielastischen Eigenschaften aufweist. Die Dichtlippe (22) begrenzt eine ein Hindurchführen des Bandes (13) ermöglichende schlitzartige Durchbrechnung (23) und liegt sowohl an den beiden Breitseiten als auch an den beiden Schmalseiten des hindurchgeführten Bandes (13) dichtend an. Auf diese Weise erhält man bei einfacher Herstellbarkeit und leichter Montage eine gute Dichtwirkung.
