The luminaire includes first and second light sources adapted to emit light beams of two different beam patterns encompassed within a single chamber with specular outer walls that are parallel to the optical axis of the beam patterns of both types of light sources. Employing a chamber having specular outer walls aligned with the optical axis of the beam patterns of both types of light sources and adapted to specularly reflect at least a portion of light incident thereon allows more uniform appearance of the luminaire while preserving the respective total beam patterns of the beams produced by the first and second light sources as the light beams are incident on the exit window of the chamber.

The retrofit light bulb (1) comprises a substantially flat heat spreader (2) having an opening (5); first and second cover members (7, 8) sandwiching the heat spreader (2), each cover member (7, 8) having a protruding portion (9, 10) directed away from the heat spreader (2) and aligned with the opening (5), the two protruding portion (9, 10) together forming a compartment (11); and one or more solid state lighting devices (18) mounted on a carrier (19) arranged in said compartment (11), in thermal contact with the heat spreader (2), wherein said one or more solid state lighting devices (18) are arranged so that each protruding portion (9, 10) receives light directly from each solid state lighting device (18). The compartment thus forms a single light mixing chamber in which light emitted by all of the SSL devices is mixed.

摘要: The present invention relates to a fluorescent lamp-type LED lighting device including: a case part formed to be elongated in one direction and having an open bottom surface which provides a reflection space on the inner side; a cover part provided on the bottom surface of the case part so that the light which is reflected and diffused in the case part is emitted; and multiple LEDs which emit the light from the cover part and the inner side of the case part such that the light is reflected and diffused on the inner side of the case part. According to the present invention, the LED light is emitted toward an indoor ceiling side, the reflection space is provided so as to reflect and diffuse the emitted LED light, and the light is emitted through a bottom surface part. Accordingly, no additional diffusion plate for surface emission is used and thus optical efficiency can be increased.
