    摘要: A rotary kiln incinerator (1) with a cylindrical structure in which a waste material introduced through one side of a furnace body (4) is combusted while being gradually transported to the other side of the furnace body by the rotation of the furnace body. The furnace body is obtained by aligning along a straight line a plurality of drums (D 1 to D 5 ) that have openings on the right and left sides and rotatably linking the openings of the adjacent drum. Internal temperatures of the drums are set to predetermined temperatures. Each drum is rotated by a rotation driving assembly (3a) installed on the outer periphery of the drum. Each of the rotation driving assembly is driven and controlled by a rotation control unit (3c) equipped with furnace temperature sensors each provided to the drum.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a furnace (10), its method of operation and control. The invention overcomes problems associated with existing furnaces by improving the recovery rate of waste metal.
    In a preferred embodiment the furnace (10) comprises a cylindrical body of constant internal diameter. The furnace body (12) is mounted on a frame (15) pivoted to a ground members (16a and 16b), the furnace body (12) is adapted to be reclined or inclined or at various angles (α and β); a burner (30) to heat the furnace, and a door (19a, 19b) for sealing an open end (14).
    As the internal walls of the furnace body (12) are of a constant diameter, it is no longer necessary to incline the furnace (10) to such a degree in order to pour molten metal, because there is no narrow neck (which previously acted like a weir).
    In a preferred embodiment combustion air is routed through the door hinge to the burner (30). As a result the air/fuel delivery system has gas tight rotary and elbow joints is attached to the furnace (10) and tilts and moves with the furnace (10).
    An artificial intelligence system monitors process variables and controls the operation of the furnace (10).

    摘要: This invention provides an apparatus for pyrolysing or gasifying material containing an organic content. The apparatus comprising an oven (10) mounted for rotation on at least one support (16). The oven (10) has an inlet (20) for receiving hot gas having a low or zero oxygen content to heat the material therein so as to process it to produce syngas, and an outlet (24) for said syngas. An electromagnet (28) is disposed in or adjacent the oven (10) so as to create a magnetic field therein and a plurality of ferrous elements (30) are freely disposed within the oven (10). A controller (32) is provided for controlling the electromagnet (28) and the rotation of the oven (10). When activated the electromagnet retains said ferrous elements as the oven rotates.
