摘要: The subject of the invention is a vertical shell and tube straight tube countercurrent condenser, wherein the condensing steam flows on the shell side of the condenser, and the cooling water on the tube side. The invention is characterized in that the countercurrent condenser is two pass on both the shell side and the tube side, whereby the heat surface of the first pass on the shell side is formed from heat surface tubes (9) in the steam space (14) of this pass attached at their upper end to an upper tube sheet (5) and at their lower end to a lower tube sheet (7) through which tubes cooling water of second pass on tube-side flows; and the heat surface of the second pass on the shell side is formed from heat surface tubes (10) in steam space (15) of this pass and attached at their upper end to the upper tube sheet (5) and at their lower end to another lower tube sheet, through which tubes cooling water of first pass on tube-side flows, whereby said steam spaces (14, 15) are interconnected through an opening (12) between the upper end (11) of a separating wall (4, 50), dividing the shell space, and an upper tube sheet (5); whereby the flow direction of the steam in the steam space (14) of the shell side first pass is upwards; and in the other steam space (15) downwards, and the flow direction of the cooling water in the heat surface tubes (9 and 10) of both passes is countercurrent to the steam flow flowing outside said tubes.

摘要: A water/steam cycle comprises a steam generator, a steam turbine, a water cooled condenser (13) and a feedwater pump, whereby the condenser (13) comprises within a condenser shell (28) at least one tube bundle (18) with an internal air cooler (21), which is connected to an external ejector/vacuum pump (25) by means of a suction line (23). In order to reduce the condenser evacuation time at the start-up of the water/steam cycle (10) without using auxiliary steam an additional evacuation line (26) with a motorized isolating valve (27) connects the external ejector/vacuum pump (25) with the condenser shell (28). The action of the isolating valve (27) is controlled by means of a control (29).

摘要: In cooling plants which work with water as both primary and secondary coolant, it is customary for use to be made of both an evaporator and a condenser which must be supplied wi5th water in the form of e.g. a spray for achieving an effective heat exchange, and out of regard for the effectiveness it is necessary for a continuous deaeration of the water to be carried out, which is effected by the sucking of air direct from the condenser, possibly supplemented with an external NCG condenser or by leading the supply water through a pre-deaerator under vacuum. With the invention it has been found possible to configure both the evaporator and the condenser with associated deaeration/pre-deaeration units in a fully integrated manner, namely by mounting a pair of sieve plates in a vacuum container for the dividing of the container into an upper supply- and distribution chamber, a centremost pre-deaeration chamber (one or more), and a bottom chamber in the form of an evaporator- and a condenser chamber respectively. From the sieve plates, the water will flow down in many thin jets, which in the deaerator chamber can be pre-deaerated by a moderate suction pressure for independent air separation, while the thin jets introduced into the bottom chamber can create effective heat exchange therein. The exchange of heat can be made additionally effective by use of a jet-breaking insert in the form of e.g. a net in the bottom chamber. The sucking of air from the condenser and from the pre-deaeration stages is arranged with stepwise air concentration units and pumps for minimizing the necessary vacuum pump capacity and energy consumption.
