The bleed line bleeds a portion of the recirculating cooling fluid from the primary cooling unit. The secondary cooling unit includes a secondary heat exchange medium that receives the cooling fluid bled from the primary cooling unit through the bleed line.

The heat exchange apparatus (10) and method is provided with an indirect evaporative heat exchange section (36) and a direct evaporative heat exchange section (20). An evaporative liquid is sprayed downwardly into the direct evaporative section (20) to directly exchange heat from the evaporative liquid flowing across fill sheets (22). The evaporative liquid is then collected in a re-spray tray (26). The collected evaporative liquid is then sprayed onto the indirect evaporative heat exchange section (36) to indirectly exchange sensible heat from a fluid stream flowing within a series of enclosed circuits (37) comprising the indirect evaporative heat exchange section (36).

Les échangeurs de chaleur sont montés inclinés par paires et forment un angle de 40°. L'installation renferme en outre un ventilateur (23) qui, suivant la température de l'air et le type de mouillage, est mis en marche à pleine vitesse de rotation ou à une fraction de celle-ci. Une telle installation réfrigérante permet une construction compacte et peut fonctionner avec un rendement élevé, tout en économisant de l'énergie.

The heat exchanger is formed by assembling a plurality of heat exchanging partition plates (11) formed by molding, which have the same shape and the same dimensions, and which are easily engageable with and detachable form each other.
