摘要: Aspects of the present invention relate to an apparatus for providing driver assistance of a vehicle, an autonomous system, a vehicle, a method, a controller and a non-transitory computer readable medium. The apparatus comprises a first sensor and a second sensor mounted on a vehicle. The first sensor is configured to transmit and receive electromagnetic radiation to detect the presence of an object in a first area, and the second sensor is configured to transmit and receive electromagnetic radiation to detect the presence of an object in a second area. The first area and the second area overlap to define an overlapping area forward of the vehicle. The first area extends from the overlapping area to a first extreme direction having a rearward component and a leftward component, and the second area extends from the overlapping area to a second extreme direction having a rearward component and a rightward component.

摘要: The technology relates to determining general weather conditions affecting the roadway around a vehicle, and how such conditions may impact driving and route planning for the vehicle when operating in an autonomous mode. For instance, the on-board sensor system may detect whether the road is generally icy as opposed to a small ice patch on a specific portion of the road surface (1702). The system may also evaluate specific driving actions taken by the vehicle and/or other nearby vehicles (1704, 1706, 1708, 1710). Based on such information, the vehicle's control system is able to use the resultant information to select an appropriate braking level or braking strategy (1714). As a result, the system can detect and respond to different levels of adverse weather conditions. The on-board computer system may share road condition information with nearby vehicles (1612, 1614) and with remote assistance (1604), so that it may be employed with broader fleet planning operations.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method for state estimation of a target comprising: obtaining an observation variable of the target at different moments through a plurality of sensors, wherein at least one observation variable is acquired by each sensor; determining a state variable of the target at different moments based on the observation variable; and optimizing the state variable of the target by minimizing a loss function. The loss function includes at least one of a position loss, an orientation loss, a velocity loss, a size loss, or a structural constraint of the target. The method of the present disclosure may obtain a sufficiently accurate state estimate. In addition, an apparatus, an electronic device, and a medium for state estimation of the target are also provided.
