摘要:
An optical fiber length adjuster includes an entrance 15 and an exit 16 for an optical fiber 9, and a holding portion 14 to hold the optical fiber 9 so that the optical fiber 9 is deformed. The holding portion 14 is configured to decrease the length of the optical fiber 9 that is held, when tensile force applied to the optical fiber 9 is increased, and increase the length of the optical fiber 9 that is held, when the tensile force applied to the optical fiber 9 is decreased.

A fiber distribution system (10) includes a fiber distribution hub (20, 300); at least one fiber distribution terminal (30, 100); and a cable (40) wrapped around a spool (110) of the fiber distribution terminal (30, 100). The fiber distribution terminal (30, 100) includes a spool (110) and a management tray (120) that rotate together. A second connectorized end (40b) of the cable (40) is held at a fiber optic adapter (125) on the tray (120). After dispensing the first connectorized end (40a) to the hub (20), an optical splitter (70, 130, 140) can be mounted to the tray (120). The splitter (26, 70, 130, 140, 306) has output adapters at which patch cords (50) can be inserted to connect subscribers to the system. The fiber distribution hub can use the same format of splitters (26, 70, 130, 140, 306). Other distributed splitter systems are provided with splicing and/or adding of splitters as needed.
摘要:
A fiber management frame for a fiber optic closure having a removable tray holder configured to mount a fiber optic tray offset from a fiber management interface. The tray holder has optical fibers mounted thereon and can be mounted and/or removed from the fiber management interface without interfering with optical fibers mounted on the fiber management interface. The fiber management interface defines a first slack storage area for a first group of optical fibers. The removable tray holder defines a second slack storage area for a second group of optical fibers offset from the fiber management interface. The fiber optic tray can be mounted to or removed from the fiber management interface without interfering with the first group of optical fibers.

High-density fiber optic modules and fiber optic module housings and related equipment are disclosed. In certain embodiments, a front opening of a fiber optic module and/or fiber optic module housing is configured to receive fiber optic components. The width and/or height of the front opening can be provided according to a designed relationship to a width and/or height, respectively, of a front side of a main body of the fiber optic module and/or fiber optic module housing. In this manner, a high density of fiber optic components and/or connections for a given space of the front side of the fiber optic module can be supported by the fiber optic module and/or fiber optic module housing. The fiber optic modules and fiber optic module housings disclosed herein can be disposed in fiber optic equipment including but not limited to a fiber optic chassis and a fiber optic equipment drawer.

The case (10) for connecting optical fibres comprises external walls (16a-d) and two groups of inlets (22a, 22b) which individual optical fibres (FO1-4) pass. The two groups extend respectively over two opposed walls (16a, 16b) of the case (10) facing each other. The case (10) also includes means (40) separate from the external walls in order to keep at least one fibre (FO1-4) coiled in the case (10).

The invention relates to an optical fibre distributor device, having a distributor panel (10), wherein the distributor panel has a front wall (11) having connecting devices (12), associated with the front wall, for optical fibre connectors, and wherein the connecting devices (12) form at least two rows (13, 14), extending in the longitudinal direction of the front wall, comprising a respective plurality of connecting devices (12). In line with the invention, the connecting devices (12) are at an oblique angle relative to the longitudinal direction of the front wall (11).
