An interference determination method for machine tools which determines whether or not there will be interference between elements that move relative to each other, the method including: a setting procedure for setting a machine tool model (MA) obtained by combining the shape model (M) of each of the elements including a work model (M1) corresponding to the work (W); a measurement procedure for measuring the position of the work (W) attached to the work attachment part (4); a correction procedure for acquiring, at a predetermined timing, the position of the work (W) measured in the measurement procedure, and correcting the machine tool model (MA) set in the setting procedure; and a determination procedure for determining whether or not there will be interference between the elements on the basis of the machine tool model (MA') corrected in the correction procedure.

The invention relates to a method for representing operations of machining units of a real machine tool, especially operations during machining of a workpiece according to a CNC machining program package, using at least one first visualization unit, in the form of operations of virtual machining units of a virtual tool machine. According to said method, an operation control determines control commands for operations of the virtual machining units, using a control program that processes CNC sets of the CNC machining program package, an operator control operates the operation control, using an operator control program, and a visualization control represents operations of the virtual machining unit on the first visualization unit, using a visualization program and geometric configuration data of a stored machine model and the control commands determined by the operation control. The aim of the invention is to improve the accuracy of said method with respect to the representation of the operations of the virtual machining units on the virtual machine tool. The method according to the invention is carried out both with at least one type-specific configuration parameter that is valid for the real machine tool type and with at least one individual configuration parameter that is valid for the individual real machine tool specifically provided for the machining of the respective workpiece.

The invention relates to a method for motion simulation of a manipulator (1a,b), preferably a NC-controlled manipulator (1a,b), in a processing environment (3a,b), wherein the manipulator (1a,b) is moved in a working operation by a control device (10) and the processing environment (3a,b) is at least partially mapped in a model of the environment, said method comprising the steps of calculating a path planning (12a,b) by the control device (10) from a desired movement of the manipulator (1a,b) starting from an initial position (11a,b) and on the basis of a kinematic model of the manipulator (1a,b), carrying out a kinematic collision test on the basis of the path planning (12a,b), the kinematic model and the model of the environment, and generating a prediction result on the basis of the kinematic collision test. The method is characterized in that the initial position (11a,b) corresponds to the current state of the manipulator. The invention further relates to a corresponding computer program having a program code and to a corresponding system for motion simulation of a manipulator (1a,b).

Said virtual machine tool comprises an operation control which has at least one first data processing unit that determines control commands for operations of the virtual machining units, using a control program processing CNC sets of the CNC machining program package, a visualization control comprising at least one second data processing unit that represents operations of the virtual machining units on the first visualization unit, using a visualization program and geometric configuration data of a stored machine model and the control commands determined by the operation control, and an operator control comprising a third data processing unit that operates the operation control, using an operator control program. The aim of the invention is to improve the virtual machine tool in such manner that the simulation of the machining of a virtual workpiece comes as close as possible to reality. The virtual machine tool according to the invention comprises a tool modeling system which allows the generation of tool configuration data for at least one virtual tool, using tool data and a tool model, and the supply thereof to the visualization program.
