The gearshift mechanism 60 of the present invention includes a gearshift shaft 113 to which a pedal boss 112 is fitted that is located on the base end side of a pedal arm 111 of a forward pedal 60f, an intermediate link 117 that is connected to a pedal boss 115 that is located on the base end side of a pedal arm 114 of a reverse pedal 60b via a connection member 116, and a link shaft 119 to which a link boss 118 of the intermediate link 117 is fitted. The pedal boss 112 of the forward pedal 60f is fixed to the gearshift shaft 113 and the pedal boss 112 is unable to rotate relatively to the gearshift shaft 113, while a pedal boss 115 located on the right side of the pedal boss 112 is able to rotate relatively to the gearshift shaft 113.

    摘要: Control consoles are normally utilized to provide ready access to the operator of the controls necessary to perform the various operating functions of the vehicle. Since vehicles, such as construction vehicles, are traversing rough terrain, it is advantageous to stabilize movement of the hand of the operator relative to the controls of the vehicle. In this subject arrangement a control console assembly is provided and has a handrest located thereon. The handrest is adapted to receive the hand of the operator such that the heel of the operator's hand remains in intimate contact with a raised portion of the handrest. A pair of levers are mounted on the control console assembly adjacent the handrest and operatively actuated by the fingertips of the operator's hand. A rotary knob is oriented on the side of the handrest and operative to be rotated by the thumb of the operator's hand. The various controls for the operating function of the earthworking vehicle is controlled by the fingers of the operator without having to move the heel of his hand from the raised portion of the handrest. This allows the operator to have a more finite and smooth control of the various operating functions of the vehicle even though the his body is being jostled around due to the earthworking vehicle traversing rough terrain.

    摘要: A device for individually controlling multiple control functions with one hand comprises a base member (20) movable back and forth and a stick member (10) mounted on the base member to move back and forth with it and swing relative to it. The base member has one portion (25) shaped like a pistol butt, with opposite upright front and rear surfaces (24) and a top surface (21), and has another column-like upright portion (26), spaced in front of said front surface (24), defining an outer side surface (27). In one gripping position, a hand has its palm against said rear surface, thumb and forefingers overlying the top surface (21), and other fingers either curled around the butt portion (25) to actuate pushbuttons or the like (19) on its front surface or extended for actuating pushbottons or the like (28) on said outer side surface. In a second gripping position, for swinging the stick member, the hand has its lower edge on said top surface (21), and fingers are either curled around the stick member (10) or are extended to actuate pushbuttons (28') on an upward extension of the column-like portion (26).
